After an early breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, your Gowitos Safaris and Holidays guide will pick you up for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and over 500 bird species. The Tarangire River draws diverse wildlife, offering great photographic opportunities, especially during the dry season. Late afternoon, drive to Africa Safari Lodge Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Begin with an optional early morning game drive at dawn, the best time to spot predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they finish their hunts. Watch the Serengeti plains come alive with light and wildlife. After breakfast at the camp, set off for a full-day game drive across the Central Serengeti, famous for its rich big cat sightings and diverse wildlife habitats. Look out for elephants, topis, elands, dik-diks, baboons, and an array of bird species. Visit the Retina Hippo Pool for close-up views of hippos. Return to camp by late afternoon for sunset views and a hearty dinner.

After an early breakfast with lunch boxes packed, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, focusing on spotting big cats, elephants, and other wildlife across the Serengeti plains. After the game drive, proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight. The Serengeti, part of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, is famous for the Big Five and diverse animal sightings year-round.

After an early breakfast with lunch boxes packed, we will begin our exciting journey to the famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s top wildlife safari destinations. You will descend into the crater floor, enjoying panoramic views of the Ngorongoro landscape and encountering a rich variety of wildlife, including chances to spot the Big Five. After the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha for your overnight stay at the Arusha Planet Lodge
